Whistling Factory

"Remember when you idly carved nonsense on a school desk, with a pen knife, during class? That moment. A boring summer afternoon. What to do with all the idle time? Carving some nonsense into a tree with a pocket knife releases a tree troll, gushing, soaking out the zone... did we mention the elven eggs yet? Or feral children, paper hauses (yes hauses), or the monsters? Drawn in fluid hyper-kinetic style, with sharp brush strokes and bathed in surreal color, The Whistling Factory is an eye-popping debut from the fevered imagination of Jesse McManus."
