Sketchbook Adventures of Peter Poplaski

"Poplaski is an 'artist's artist,' widely admired by the comics industry cognoscenti. He was art director for Kitchen Sink Press for years, working closely with Harvey Kurtzman, Will Eisner, Milton Caniff, R. Crumb and other cartooning giants, and drew some of DC's most iconic Batman and Superman book covers. The Sketchbook Adventures of Peter Poplaski contains several hundred finely detailed observations of people and places. This unforgettable collection also boasts an introduction by R. Crumb and an insightful afterword by Poplaski himself."
