ROAD TO OZ (2012)

"• When dusty Kansas roads suddenly turn into magic highways, it's a safe bet that one of them is the road to Oz, but which one? • Dorothy's off on another fantastic adventure, and Toto is back, too. • This time their companions are strange-an old homeless guy with a magic magnet and a mentally-challenged child named Button-Bright."

"• The King of the talking foxes magically transforms poor Button-Bright, and when Dorothy and her friends protest, he refuses to undo the transformation, leaving the boy trapped in an unwanted form. • Daughter of the Rainbow falls to Earth, lost and alone, forced to dance just to keep warm. • Who will get an invitation to the most lavish celebration ever known, the birthday party of Ozma of Oz?"

"• The King of Oz bestows Button Bright with a cleverly generous gift-a fox's head! • How will Dorothy and the Shaggy Man get through the Deadly Desert? Johnny Dooit may have an idea! • Eric Shanower and Skottie Young deliver another Oz adaptation that's an instant classic!"

"• Death looms all around for Dorothy and her friends. • Behind them the cannibalistic Scoodlers want to cook them for soup! While in front lies the Deadly Desert-just one step onto its sands instantly turns flesh to dust. • The Land of Oz is just beyond, but it looks as if they won't survive to reach it."

"• With the help of the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion, Dorothy finally reaches the Emerald City. • But there are surprises along the way-like the three deaths of Jack Pumpkinhead! • The Shaggy Man reveals the shameful secret of the Love Magnet. • Dorothy finally learns who first enchanted the magical road to Oz."

"• Time to party! • When the celebration is for Ozma of Oz, you know it will be the most extravagant bash in all of fantasy literature. • Lots of food, lots of magic, and a guest list that includes Santa Claus! • Plus: the best way to go home? Magic bubbles of course!"
