Pop Gun War

"FAREL DALRYMPLE On sale June 25, SC, 136pg, b&w, 6' x 9' This handsome trade collects the first five issues of New York-based artist Farel Dalrymple's daring and beautiful series. Following a cast of disarmingly surreal characters -including a dwarf who becomes a giant and a young boy with wings growing from his shoulders-Pop Gun War is both a meditation on friendship and alienation, and a love letter to the city that Dalrymple calls home. Rich, textured, and unique, Pop Gun War is unlike anything you've ever seen. 'Farel Dalrymple is one of the finest young draftsmen to quietly sidle into comics in a long time. And one of the field's most gifted storytellers.' - Walter Simonson • Farel Dalrymple is a Society of Illustrators Gold medal winner, a Xeric Grant recipient, and a Russ Manning Award nominee"
