PASS ME BY GN (2025)

"A queer, rural, Canadian, romantic tragedy. In this first book in the series, we are introduced to Ed as a retired man spending his time fishing with his close friend Rory. Rocked by a recent dementia diagnosis, Ed attempts to keep a semblance of a normal life. As his health worsens and daily routines become increasingly difficult, his panic begins to grow. Forget-ting what he orders every day at the diner, disoriented by a grocery list, lost in familiar spaces, Ed's memories become a faded photograph of a past with the potential to disappear forever."

A chance encounter between Ed and the charismatic, androgynous frontman of the pulse pounding, glam rock band Electric Vice, sucks Ed into a world of mascara, weathered leather, platform heels and neon.  A detour towards a deeper understanding of Ed and the memories at risk from his dementia in an era that pushed the boundaries of gender and sexuality in shaping his identity. Initial orders will include a limited edition Electric Vice album cover slip case, made to resemble the album cover as if a fan had kept a copy from 1973 until now, limited to only 1,000 copies.

Exploring family, loss, tragedy, identity, and self-discovery, Lily, the third book in the award-winning Pass Me By series, is a heartfelt tale about how our stories carry through time, and how we come to terms with change. 17 year-old trans girl Lily visits her estranged grandfather Ed, as he struggles with his rapidly developing Alzheimer's. Lily, facing struggles of her own, devolops a bond with Ed as they get the opportunity to understand each other.
