MY GREATEST ADVENTURE (2011)

Actress and Olympic athlete Rita Farr, test pilot Larry Trainor, and daredevil Cliff Steele were three ordinary people who gained extraordinary abilities that made them outcasts from society. After being persuaded by a mysterious benefactor known as the Chief to use their unique powers for good, this trio formed the first iteration of the Doom Patrol--the World's Strangest Heroes! This iconic facsimile reprints Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, and Robot Man's first adventure figuring out their powers and squaring off against the sinister General Immortus.

"Written by AARON LOPRESTI, KEVIN MAGUIRE and MATT KINDT Art by AARON LOPRESTI, KEVIN MAGUIRE, MATT RYAN and SCOTT KOLINS Cover by SCOTT KOLINS When Batman goes hunting for answers Garbage Man might be able to provide, things start to look up for the toxic man. Meanwhile, Robotman follows a zombie trail from Zanzibar to a strange island filled with even stranger creatures, and Tanga encounters an alien monster that might be too much even for her!"

"From a giant snake smashing through Zanzibar - and through Robotman - and an ancient reptile stalking the alleyways of Gotham City, to the endless plague of titans attracted to Tanga on a faraway planet, our heroes are put to the test as they face off against their demons!"

"In the latest issue of the way-out miniseries, Garbage Man flings a Dino-man by the tail, while Tanga tears off a piece of Za - the despot, that is, not the food! Plus: the origin of Robotman!"

"Does Robotman's past hold the key to defeating the strange creatures on Robot Island? Meanwhile, Garbage Man has enough on his plate without dinosaur creatures from another dimension! And is it Tanga or Za who becomes 'Humbled' in their showdown?"

"Robotman might be able to reconcile man and machine - but can he open his digital heart to the woman who's been beside him all along? And Garbage Man faces off against the man who destroyed his life, but is any of his old life left to win back? Will the space-traveling Tanga find a place to call home - or at least defeat all the monsters so she can visit for a while?"
