Mero and the City of Ghosts

Mero is the wielder of Sheathless, an enchanted sword that extends its owner's life by draining the lifeblood of others. But the immortality it bestows comes at a terrible price, for while Mero can never die, neither can he truly live. Doomed to an existence of loneliness and suffering, he wanders the war-scorched earth, haunted by a goddess whose voice only he can hear.
