Kent Williams Eklektikos

"(A) Kent Williams Los Angeles-based painter and graphic novelist Kent Williams is unique in the manner of his articulation. No one paints quite as he does, and no one makes pictures much like his. Williams' formidable reputation as a powerful contemporary figurative painter combines bold realism with abstraction and neo-expressionistic sensibilities, and his work is characterized by strong gestural forms combined with areas of arresting detail, rendered with rich dynamic brushwork. With essays by Peter Frank and Alex Ross."
