Inferior Five (2019)

"The citizens of Dangerfield, Arizona, are beset by strange goings-on after the 'Invasion' that rocked the DC Universe, but only five misfit kids seem to notice them. Can they uncover what's happening before some sinister force collects them all? Find out in this new miniseries! And in the backup feature with story and art by Jeff Lemire, the Peacemaker is on a top-secret mission from Checkmate and Amanda Waller to find a mysterious weapon before the Russians can."

"It's meant to be the days of Earth's rebirth after the dreaded Invasion, but it doesn't look like the Dominators have left Dangerfield, Arizona, nor are they done making the 'Inferior Five' their unwitting cat toys! Plus, the return of the Peacemaker, a broken soldier for a broken time! All this, and Angry Charlie, too!"

"The kids who don't know they're a team get a superhero from the '80s to come to their aid. It's the Tasmanian Devil... and he's pitted against someone or something that looks an awful lot like a giant starfish! Plus, the Peacemaker's back in action in the final showdown with the KGBeast! "

"Seems like old times...or does it? In the days following the Invasion, the Tasmanian Devil pulverizes a certain cosmic starfish from space (and gets pulverized in return!), while the Peacemaker streaks across Russian skies to battle the Rocket Reds! And when you see the alien monsters descend on Dangerfield, Arizona, it'll be more like 'screams like old times!'"

"The Inferior Five make their last stand-and since it's their final issue, it really is their last stand! Plus, is Dangerfield, AZ, going up for sale? It's not even a nice place to visit, so who would want to live there?"
