Harrowing Game

For fans of Junji Ito comes The Harrowing Game, a deliciously creepy manga-inflected horror graphic novel for adult readers. Every night, ghosts gather in an upstairs bathroom, and a game is played. The scariest story wins. No soul can move on until they win. Tonight, three players are locked in this existential battle: a recently deceased girl with no memories, a smirking boy in a bathtub, and an old woman trapped in a mirror. In their terrifying tales, an ancient evil stalks the world, from the temples of ancient Egypt to the taxidermy labs of modern New England. This presence tempts the innocent as well as the corrupted, and its hunger is boundless.
