CG GALAXY TOP CHINESE CG ARTISTS & THEIR WORKS SC (2025)

"From the producers of the highly successful Fantasy+ books comes this brand new title focusing on the artwork of Chinese CG art masters. Volume 1 launches the series with a celebration of the best character and scene design for 2D and 3D games. Whether designed for hand held devices or computer screens, the raw talent and artistry of the work is readily apparent. Elves, dragons, castles, and more are spontaneously conceived or reinterpreted to meet the needs of clients or the whims of an ever-changing public."

"The growth of the game industry in China since the turn of the millennium has been truly astounding. Internationally recognized and award winning Chinese designers find themselves in high demand with game giants such as Electronic Arts and Ubisoft. Often the unsung heroes of the industry, game designers spend countless grueling hours creating compelling characters through which we inhabit virtual worlds. The artists collected here give voice to their imaginings through thoughtful interviews and galleries of their artwork created in a variety of mediums, including sculpture."
