"(W/A) Rob Durham When an extremely cold, harsh winter shows up at Marshville's doorstep, Professor Cook is left with a dilemma: How will he keep the people from freezing to death without having to allow the surrounding forest to be cut down? Also Meriem learns what a Hottie Tottie is!"

"(W/A) Rob Durham With the hydroponics garden now supplying the town with fresh food, the people of Marshville begin to take pride in their ingenuity. However, they quickly learn that pride comes before a fall, as snow threatens to collapse the very roof the garden depends on for light and warmth! Meriem discovers that her home away from home is now under threat and pitches in with the others to save it, despite the cold having a horrible effect on her body!"

The town must rely mainly on a scant amount of canned food now and everyone fears that they might not make it through winter without some new source of food. Meriem wanders aimlessly on the outskirts of town and chances upon an abandoned house where she ducks in for shelter. Whose house was this - and what is in the basement?"

"(W/A) Rob Durham Concluding the storyline! After seven months of battling the bitter cold, Marshville receives a reprieve. The clouds briefly clear, allowing the task of digging out of the snow to begin. Meanwhile, Meriem stalks a vicious killing animal, one that she has never seen before!"
