A STAR BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN GN (2025)

Sae and Koki have been friends since childhood. One fateful day at the end of middle school, she has a revelation: Koki has grown up! Now they're in high school, and she has another revelation: she has feelings for Koki! But Sae isn't the only girl who does... The question is, who does Koki have feelings for?!

Now that Sae knows Koki has a crush on someone, she tries to turn her own romantic feelings for him into platonic ones. Luckily there are lots of school activities to distract her, from a sustainable development field trip to a jump rope tournament to an English language theater festival. But when a terrible texting accident reveals to Koki that Sae has a crush on someone too, will she finally confess her feelings?

When Sae comes to a friend's defense, Koki ends up defending Sae's reputation…with his fists. In the infirmary, Sae meets Subaru, a charming girl she concludes must be the one Koki has a secret crush on. Meanwhile, some classmates are convinced Sae is dating Ayukawa. Appearances can be deceiving, especially when emotions are running high…
