SCOOT PRESENTS 2020

Description

"Just One Dollar! The premiere of a new Young Adult imprint from Scout Comics. Scoot promises to bring the best new talent and most outrageous adventures, whether it's an epic space opera, slice of life, journey in the African wilderness, or a children's fantasy story come to life. This debut issue contains a special feature Unikorn, the story of Maeve 'Mae' Everhart as she inherits Percy, an old horse with a strange nub on his forehead. When the horse performs a 'healing miracle' and is declared a unicorn, crowds descend on her family farm, making Mae realize the world might not be ready for a magic horse just yet. Her heartbreaking and hopeful journey with this special animal becomes a story of family healing, community and discovery of the real magic inside us all."
