PS ARTBOOKS WHIZ COMICS FACSIMILE ED #25 (C: 0-1-2)

Description

Whiz Comics issues #25 (December 1941), #33 (August 1942), and #35 (October 1942) follow the series' tradition of blending thrilling super-hero exploits with humor and moral lessons. At the forefront is Captain Marvel, the principal protagonist, who faces off against a range of adversaries, defends the vulnerable, and fights against malevolent forces. Throughout these narratives, Captain Marvel harnesses extraordinary abilities bestowed upon him when he utters the enchanted word 'Shazam!', metamorphosing from the youthful newsboy Billy Batson into the formidable super-hero.
