NEIL GAIMAN ODD & FROST GIANTS ILLUS HC (C: 0-1-0)

Description

"The New York Times bestselling duo behind The Sleeper and the Spindle have created a breathtaking new edition of Neil Gaiman's Odd and the Frost Giants. This edition contains beautiful new black, white, and metallic silver art by UK Laureate Chris Riddell. Odd has had some very bad luck. His father perished on a Viking expedition, his leg was crushed beneath a tree, and the freezing winter seems to be lasting forever. But when Odd flees to the woods and releases a trapped bear, his luck begins to change. He meets an eagle, a bear, and a fox, who reveal that they're actually Norse gods, trapped in animal form by the evil frost giants who have conquered Asgard, the city of the gods. Can a twelve-year-old boy reclaim Thor's hammer, outwit the frost giants and release the gods?"
