CRAWLING KING HC

Description

"'The rotting carcass of once proud Gyldenbrae sleeps. Best let it lie. Its hideous truth holds nothing but despair.' The Crawling King is a fully illustrated dark fantasy novel by award-winning independent animator Einar Baldvin. The book comes with a cloth, foil stamped hardcover, fully drawn, inked, and painted illustrations, and handwritten text. The novel is a collection of stories from the doomed City of Gyldenbrae and the surrounding countryside. Pre-sented in the form of legends, fables, manuscripts, first-hand accounts and historical documents, The Crawling King invites readers to delve into the dark ruins of a world consumed by magic. Equal parts art book and anthology in the spirit of 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,' Baldvin's vision of Gyldenbrae feels like Lovecraft adapted for children."
