Description
"(W/A) Various Discover the dark chapter in comics' history when Congress held a series of hearings that explored whether or not comic books contributed to juvenille delinquency. Testimony from Walt Kelly, Milton Caniff, William Gaines, and Frederic Wertham given in April and June of 1954 is included. These are the hearings that almost killed the comics industry and lead to the creation of the Comics Code Authority. A must-have for historians and fans alike."
