COMIC BOOK CREATOR #34

Description

CBC talks with artist/writer Dan Jurgens on matters of life and death (regarding Superman, natch!), as well as hitting his stride on Sun Devils, creating Booster Gold, developing the “Doomsday scenario” with the demise of the Man of Steel, and more! Plus, we explore the fascinating Glutverse, a continuity featuring characters created by Don Glut that traversed Gold Key, Marvel, DC, and other surprising places! Also, Rick Altergott discusses his first graphic novel, Blessed Be, and we conclude our multi-part profiles of Mike Deodato, Jr. and Frank Borth! Plus a conversation with Linda Sunshine, innovative editor behind early hardcover super-hero collections (Superman: From the ’30s to the ’70s, and Marvel’s Fireside books). And, of course, there's our regular CBC features from Hembeck, Thompson, Arndt, Patrick, Whitehouse, Ziuko, Meyer, and Sutton! Featuring a cover with Jurgens breakdowns and finished ink art by Brett Breeding. Edited by Jon B. Cooke.
